This is a time of upheaval, but this is also a last best chance to reform our ways of life.

An earthquake moves through the collective consciousness. The world is spinning, we question ourselves and our traditional roles, and our houses are shaking. A time of upheaval is clearly upon us.

Good Yin energy can help households find the right footing in the apparent chaos. Stick to the known and cultivate it. An ancient Chinese parable states: "Whether you go up the ladder or down it, your position is shaky. When you stand with your two feet on the ground, you will always keep your balance." Draw closer to Nature; allow these upheavals to push you from the old convention of humans as pavement-laying aggressors against Nature, and fall back to gardening. Invite Nature back into your life through planting heirloom seeds in the ground, and she will spring up to teach and help you in manifold ways!

The spirits of entropy and political opposition move powerfully for the next year. Household stability will be adversely affected for those who refuse to abide by the call to Nature, for those who strive to maintain their wasteful urban and suburban homes when they could build homes of sand and earth that stand for thousands of years for just a few thousand dollars. What a good time to volunteer at a co-op or local community sponsored agriculture group ... and an even better time to plant a garden of edible plants. These spirits also adversely affect communications and harvest; expect poor yields for monoculture farms this year. We are likely to have some fairly major crop failures and perhaps even food shortages here in America, as well as globally.

Gaia asserts her will to survive. Human civilization will be reshaped into harmony or it will perish. Consider sustainable living. Consider permaculture, edible forests and community gardens. Fitting in with the natural world has been known to work forever; only in the past several decades have we accelerated down the path of pathological intensity, artifice and poisonous ruin. Take communion with Nature to heart and be remade to fit the world in which and on which you live. Outcomes will be more favorable for those who commune with the global consciousness, for those who meditate upon and seek Nature. The imperative is simple: a return to Nature, retaining only those technologies that help the Earth, is the only way forward. All other ways are of consumption and futility, and they do not fit the universe.

Do not be surprised that forsaking Natural Law has produced widespread chaos, suffering and a sense of being lost. Conversion to Natural Law is as simple and low-cost as planting a garden and thinking about growing your own non-genetically modified food rather than buying gas from Exxon to visit the supermarket for Frankenfood tomatoes implanted with squid genes. Those who depart from Nature become the thralls of manipulators. Forsake their cities, their banks, their roads and their consumptive habits and you will forsake their control. Think about what you have to lose versus what you have to gain.

Among alternatives, only those that abide by Natural Law are viable.
