Inklings of the Natural World Order

The powers that be, in attempting to help the world via directly willful diplomacy and military action, will face medium-term frustration and lack of cooperation from the subjects of their operations.

Over the next several months, change will occur rapidly in the theaters of politics and military endeavor, but also unpredictably, not at the behest of any cohesive vision or will.

Mistrust between the bureaucratic machine and the populous has been a growing problem, and will begin to manifest more openly and publicly. The global consciousness seeks to end the age of secret motives and the Mesopotamian elite-vs-masses, us-vs-them dynamic of manufactured and unhelpful socioeconomic polarity. The prerogative of control by force and enfranchisement of the few at the expense of the many has always been unstable, and even the enfranchised elites are beginning to recognize that it has reached the end of its usefulness as a model for civilization.

Just the same, trust is not a virtue. It is the product of a strong and time-proven relationship, and a luxury. These dramas will be hashed out in the arenas of complex litigation and bureaucracy, and therefore there will be glitches, setbacks and red tape—but the current of necessity will not stop for human pettiness, bickering and contrivances.

Cultivate social networks with care, and be aware of the intentions of others, as well as your own intentions.

In Earth civilization there has long been a mighty disconnect between our inner selves and the social stage; there has been an arbitrary wall imposed between who we really are and how we behave. Therefore, we have learned since Mesopotamian times to become actors in order to please our superiors and elites, via various forms of socioeconomic Pavlovian training. This modality is unraveling slowly due to new modes of social networking and new cultural ecologies. In order to progress beyond the old walls of limitation, we must cultivate self-awareness and mutual attunement (which may be described as empathy), but also a real ambition attached to a real vision of what we want change to be. Find your own way! Change is happening, but its moment and power will pass us by like a wave unless we actively participate in the manifestation of new ways of thought, activity and patterns of living. Open your mind and be considerate, especially of the Earth as a superorganism.

A Yin time of waiting is settling in, a political winter indicative of the cultural standoff between ethnically homogenous and xenophobic China and the West, which remains curiously steeped in materialism and egotism despite centuries of social evolution and exploration of deeper cultural subtleties. A blind spot is being imposed over human imagination largely due to apathy and the assumption that change is blind, something alien and inconvenient to be resisted, rather than favorable when embraced fully and a universal inevitability.

The key is to stop using the old keys on the lock of the box of human limitation.

Here is a new key, philosophers, politicians and those who are inclined to use their minds: step outside humanism in order to become naturally alienated from egotistical and material pursuits. Pursue connections with Nature. Experiment personally with hiking, gardening and establishing spiritual attunement with the natural world——too long industrialized Earth cultures have been self-obsessed, turning inward to increasingly arbitrary and artificially contrived spaces and patterns, until such Nature-abhorring spaces as New York City and Beijing have been manifested as reflections of the pollution and barrenness that exist collectively in the hearts and minds of men.

The Natural World Order is the permanent world order and the way to perpetual civilization. We can have it if we meditate upon it and seek it with our imagination and ambition, together and as individuals, but we cannot afford to wait for magic spoons to appear at our mouths and feed it to us.
