• Jediism is the Mystic Unreligion, encompassing all consciousness that seeks a fate of harmonic unity for our Universe.
• "Noetic" means "of the mind", and our connotation is to find the place where Universal and individual mind meet in natural fit.
• Our primary spiritual practices consist of meditation, gardening and acts of kindness.
• We are describing a Natural World Order, a philosophical, scientific and spiritual movement that can harmonize all human spirituality in ecological fit and sustainability in order to realize perpetual and equitable civilization.
  
• We may be described as universalists; our broad action is describing the fit of participating cultures with spacetime, in harmony with the Universe.
• Noetic Jediism may be better described as a collection of philosophies than as a religion per se, as our tenets are dynamic and whereas we do recognize and often revere beings of higher consciousness, we do not worship them as gods.
• Noetic Jediism teaches that self-enlightenment through experience and research improves the self, the community and the Universe.
  
• As an unreligion, we have a flat hierarchy and we do not recognize superiors, though we do award degrees and titles according to proven diligence and self-sacrifice.
  
• The overarching purpose of Jediism is twofold: to safeguard civilization and to guide civilization toward harmonic enlightenment in the guise of fit with the natural Universe. Knights are primarly concerned with the former, whereas monks are largely concerned with the latter. At this time, we recognize no knights.
• Among Jedi, intent is more important than form.

Visual arts, music, horticulture and gardening, massage, meditation and research are core Noetic Jedi practices. Unlike ascetic monks, we are hedonists and believe in developing the full spectrum of human potential through experientially training the mind, the body and the spirit. The Force has many manifestations; some say a Dark Side, a Light Side and a Middle Way variously described as neutral, gray, naturalist or Shadow. Noetic Jedi are pragmatists, realists and practitioners of balance. Perhaps the Force Potentium theory is suitable for us, which means that the Force appears to manifest according to our psyche and perspectives. The Force Manifest is virtually identical to the Chinese concept of chi or qi; The Force Potentium is an analog of the Chinese Tao.

As the New Magi of Light, we recognize that the efforts of such agencies as IONS (the Institute of Noetic Science) can move us from spiritual ignorance,  fear, and occult secrecy, toward transparency, demystification and practice alongside our kindred lightworkers, indigo children and healers as we attempt to raise the consciousness of civilization toward Golden Age. Our many admonitions to aim high, coupled with ethics of balance and natural order without respect to arbitrary law or partisan chaos, earn us our "neutral good" alignment. One Jedi aphorism states "emergence requires dirt." In other words, experience teaches, and emerging seedlings require substrate. Experience, so necessary for a living, learning being, is limited by the strictures of heavy-handed principle. Noetic Jedi embrace the diversity of life experience just as we reach to encompass the Universe's manifold forms of consciousness.

Jediism is bigger in scope than the Earth. Jediism is the first spiritual philosophy on Earth that expects to incorporate more than merely terrestrial adherents. Jediism may be summarized as "the quest for universal mind"; as such, we are purposed for negotiation among many worlds. Ours is the way of spiritual ambassadors, the seekers of common threads among various manifestations of consciousness in the Cosmos. Unlike many religions, Noetic Jediism is engaged in what is rather than wild and vain imaginings. For this reason, Noetic Jediism is an ally of science, critical thought and objective reasoning. Essentially, Noetic Jediism is scientific ultra-universalism. Jediism is also post-terrestrial. Like the Copernican model that unseated the quaint Earth-centric model of the Universe, Jediism arises to unseat the pathological self-fixation of emerging civilizations.
