Dying is the Old Order of fear, mystery and centripetal control. The New World Order conceived by a few elites for the rest of the world must evolve and become the Natural World Order, a more distributed and natural affair of decentralization and renaturalization. If the elites do not make room at the drawing board, then they imagine less than they should and hold Nature in poor esteem, even disregard. A natural world order is timeless. A new world order is merely ... new. And thus far, the control of the many by the few has proved poisonous to the Earth. Given our situation, it would seem that we no longer have time or cause for incrementalism. Control and power dramas cannot describe human civilization forever. These stories are old, repetitive and uninspired. How is a code written in stone a living code? How is ink on paper divine? For too long, we have accepted arbitrary limits in the guises of such memes as "one true religion" and "chosen people", and hierarchical spiritual control. These are forms of outsourcing that let other people think for us as we sleep our lives away, and they are counterproductive and unsustainable.
We can develop our common sense and powers of perception to the point where we can come to know ourselves and the world well enough to make sound decisions for our own lives. For too long our sciences have described extrinsic space only, leaving intrinsic humanity unexamined and stunted, deprived of sense and development. We have long enfranchised gurus, masters and charlatans, "holy" men who only lead us farther away from the intrinsic source and sacred primacy into externalities and confusion. This is profitable for them, but not for civilization as a whole. Old Order spirituality is in a state of perpetual collapse. Its parasitic forms of usury and predation require ever-escalating complexity, prosthesis and outside inputs (nominally satisfied by capitalistic growth, in the past). It is inadequate for our future, unless we choose to imagine and manifest a future of war, suffering, poverty, waste and decline. Meaning occurs at the confluence of intrinsic and extrinsic realities, at the boundary between inner and outer worlds where the human mind is supposed to, but perhaps does not always, reside. To have only intrinsic reality is solipsism and madness. To have only extrinsic reality is soulless. Yet for ages, we have accepted a world of arbitrary duality, a world where these two necessary halves of reality communicate poorly, if at all. To have both intrinsic and extrinsic reality connected and interacting is mindfulness. This is the state of open knowledge of both the self and the world, where all mysteries are open for examination and we become scientifically careful to declare truth or untruth. It is the state Nature defines for spirituality to thrive, and yet it cannot be reached via pure myth or pure science alone. It needs both, in truth and authenticity, in objectivity and subjectivity, in a fusion of science and spirituality described as a New Story of Civilization, in order to become compelling and alive. Who is the Master? You are. We are sovereign integrals, holons of All. We may have divergent forms, but we have no superiors and no inferiors. We are many stars, but one light. We are fragile yet powerful beings, and our power is seated within. Stop giving it to others as an enlightenment tax, or taking it from others. Declare independence from the Old Order, the tired old dramas of egocentrism and division, and decide instead to partake in spiritual freedom, authenticity and pursuit of natural fit. The only known living code is DNA. The only living spirit resides at the circumstantial interface between intrinsic and extrinsic realities; this is Mind, the semi-permeable membrane between inner and outer knowing. Where is the Holy Book? It is written in our hearts, and it lives, dies and evolves with us. Where is God? The Universal Mind is the product of the Universe and our minds, strewn across the totality of spacetime. Do not presume to know God. It may be better to listen than to make demands: to meditate, rather than pray. Balance your ways between inner and outer knowing, and you will find mindfulness. Poor intentionality distorts perception, the lens of the mind: fear, avarice, egotism. But virtues make perception clear: valor, service and humility, which is ego-loss. It is through atonement with the Force (also the Tao), and taking the Universal Mind into ourselves through meditation, that we practice and develop intrinsic knowing. Good and evil are reducible to thermodynamic arguments. Good is the behavioral geometry through spacetime of service and self-loss that yields the parts to the system, and the system to the Universe, in harmonic natural fit. Evil is that which causes net entropy in the Universe, and it is often the result of poor fit among parts (such as one part monopolizing or corrupting the functions of a whole system, or a mismatch between a system artifact and its environment—as describes much of our present civilization), the disruption of good systems, or the creation of destructive systems. How can one be good? So easily. Leave things be, and the natural order arises spontaneously. Impose arbitrary ego-driven agenda and introduce asymmetry for the purpose of self-aggrandisement or manipulation, and the result will be net destruction and futility. Cultivate sensitivity to life and appreciation of life; treat the whole world as your private garden and everyone you meet as your closest neighbor, and you will be closer to the Timeless Way and the Natural Order. The more we all participate in the Natural Order, the closer we will draw to Utopia.
